This time I came to Hangzhou to connect with cultural and tourism projects, compared multiple business hotels around West Lake, and finally chose Lakeview Hotel Hangzhou. I stayed for four consecutive days to connect and hold industry seminars, and the whole process was smooth and worry free, fully meeting all the core needs of business travel.
Walking a few hundred meters from Longxiangqiao Station on Metro Line 1 to the hotel, I didn't have to take any detours to drag a suitcase full of cultural and creative samples and project materials. As soon as I entered, the front desk took the initiative to guide me to the business priority channel and completed the check-in procedures in less than three minutes. Upon learning that I was going to attend a conference at the West Lake Cultural Square Industrial Park the next morning, the staff specially arranged a high-rise lake facing room far away from the elevator. They also gave me a note indicating the morning rush hour route to avoid congestion, and even clearly marked the locations of nearby American style stores that could quickly pick up ice, avoiding the crowded road by the lake and saving me a lot of time on strategy.
The design of the guest room is completely in line with the usage habits of business travel. The space is spacious and transparent, with a dedicated independent office area and a spacious desktop that can simultaneously display all the cultural and tourism project plans and cooperation contracts I have brought. I need to print dozens of English project manuals for conference purposes at the last minute, and the staff helped me organize and bind them in less than ten minutes. The hotel's own multi specification conference hall is fully equipped. I have arranged with my partner to hold a small matchmaking meeting here. There is no need to find an external venue. The projection and sound are stable throughout the whole process. During the intermission, the staff had prepared freshly ground coffee and sweet scented osmanthus cake Dim sum with Hangzhou characteristics in advance, and the whole meeting was smooth and decent.
The most surprising thing is its geographical advantage. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the cultural and creative park in the core of West Lake, and it only takes four stops by subway to attend the conference in Qianjiang New City. There is no need to waste time on commuting traffic jams. After a busy day's work, I took a ten minute walk to West Lake in the evening to take a walk, blowing the lake breeze and watching the sunset dye the lake surface golden red. The tension of discussing projects for days instantly dissipated. The hotel has a wide variety of breakfast restaurants. The Hangzhou Bang Pianerchuan and Xiaolongbao are all ready to serve. You can eat a bowl of hot food before going out in the morning, and you are full of energy to run the project in the morning.

This time, I specifically chose a day for off peak travel in Hangzhou and chose to stay at Lakeview Hotel Hangzhou. Driven by its old reputation of 'seeing West Lake through the window', staying for three consecutive days has become the most reliable accommodation experience of my recent trip to Hangzhou.
Walking a few hundred meters from Longxiangqiao Station on Metro Line 1, you will arrive at the hotel. Dragging a suitcase filled with Hanfu and photo props, you don't have to wander around the crowded lakeside. As soon as you enter, you are enveloped in the unique warmth of an old hotel. The local Hangzhou aunt at the front desk greeted me with a smile. I heard that I came to chase the morning fog of the West Lake. She not only helped me finish my stay quickly, but also specially arranged a guest room near the lake on a high floor for me. She handed me a handwritten route for small crowds to go around the lake. Even the old coffee shop hidden under the wutong tree in Beishan Street and the few crowded lotus spots at the foot of the isolated mountain were clearly marked, saving me a lot of time in line at online red card punching points.
The moment I pushed open the door, I felt like I had chosen the right place. The space was spacious and transparent, without the cramped feeling of many new hotels. The most enjoyable thing about living here is its location. Just a few steps down the stairs, you can directly step into the lakeside trail of West Lake Park, without having to take detours to crowd the scenic area. If you want to take a photo of the sunrise over West Lake, you can leisurely stroll past at 6am, just in time for the sun to rise from the lake surface. You can walk for more than ten minutes to Beishan Street. You can find the old western-style buildings, wutong Road, and time-honored Hangbang food shops on the roadside within a few steps. You don't need to take a taxi to travel far. Strolling until late at night and wanting to return to the hotel, walking along the streetlights by the lake for more than ten minutes, the evening breeze blew and the lights by West Lake slowly dimmed, even relieving most of the exhaustion from a day of wandering.
The most striking thing is the old-fashioned warmth hidden in the details of the old hotel. The 24-hour lobby bar allows you to pick up free warm West Lake Longjing at any time. After wandering around the lake and sweating profusely, come back and have a drink to instantly feel comfortable. Once when I was taking Hanfu photos, I accidentally dropped my hairpin on a bench in Sudi. With a try it out attitude, I called the front desk, and the staff not only helped me contact the patrol personnel in the scenic area, but also specially prepared spare antique hair accessories for me, fearing that my schedule the next day would be affected. The housekeeping lady saw the Hangzhou sightseeing list I had spread out on the table and took the initiative to chat with me about which restaurant's scallion braised dishes were the most authentic. She recommended the local snack shop that locals often go to.
The three-day itinerary didn't rush to any popular check-in spots, just leisurely strolling along West Lake, watching lotus leaves swaying at the foot of Lonely Mountain, and sitting by the window in the evening watching the sunset dye the lake surface golden red. Lakeview Hotel Hangzhou did not rely on a first-line lake view to create a premium, but incorporated the slow pace and excellent service of old Hangzhou into every detail.
